Never in the history of politics have I seen anything so ridiuculous. Not even in the laugh a minute era of Trumpian politics.

One by one, Trump's Cabinet members assembled around the table spoke effusively about the president as he sat beaming, soaking it all in at the first formal gathering of his most senior officials at the White House on Monday.

For him, the meeting was a welcome rendering of what he feels are major accomplishments ignored by his detractors, even though major legislative achievements have eluded him thus far.

There was no one more gushing than White House chief of staff Reince Priebus, who is frequently the target of criticism from long-time Trump advisers and is often see as just one misstep away from being ousted, even though rumors of his departure have all proved to be premature.

"On behalf of the entire senior staff around you, Mr. President, we thank you for the honor and the blessing that you’ve given us to serve your agenda and the American people and we’re continuing to work very hard every day to accomplish those goals," Priebus said.

“It is the greatest privilege of my life to serve as vice president. The president is keeping his word to the American people," said Vice President Mike Pence.

Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue, noting the comments from other officials who said they had recently been abroad, noted wryly: “While we are bragging about international travel I just got back from Mississippi and they like you there.”

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, who as governor of South Carolina had endorsed Trump opponent Marco Rubio last year, called it "a new day at the United Nations" with Trump in power.

"We now have a very strong voice. People know what the United States is for. They know what we are against. And they see us in a new way across the board. I think the international community knows we are back," she said.

Such a load of insincere cringeworthy fawning nonsense

I felt like I was getting an insight into what a cabinet meeting in Pyongyang might be like.

Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer, put together a mock video of a meeting with his staff with aides praising Schumer.

"Michelle, how'd my hair look coming out of the gym this morning?" Schumer asks, turning to one staffer.

"You have great hair. Nobody has better hair than you," Michelle said.

He began with an opening statement laced with the sort of wild, self-congratulatory boasts that are his trademark.

"Never has there been a president, with few exceptions … who has passed more legislation, done more things," Trump declared, even though Congress, which is controlled by his party, hasn't passed any major legislation.

He hailed his plan for the "single biggest tax cut in American history," even though he hasn't proposed a plan and Congress hasn't acted on one. He said "no one would have believed" his election could have created so many new jobs over the past seven months (1.1 million), even though more jobs (1.3 million) were created in the previous seven months.

This reminded me of article I read back in March 2016.  It had this image included.

Dowie, since 99% of us respect other members enough to post links showing where we got our material, why don't you?

Trump is not a simpleton. Sonny Perdue , former governor of GA, has a reputation for sincerity. As does former IN governor, now Veep Mike pence.

You're entitled to characterise President Trump however you please. But your opinions actually mirror yourself.

I've not been a fan of Trump's style of communication. But people who've studied Trump without prejudice perceive he's extremely intelligent. Some of Trump's personal quirks strike critics as flaws. But those who've enjoyed reading biographies of all types of individuals learn that geniuses often flaunt some eccentricities.   Trump is on a quest to help save America. We were headed towards disastrous changes, including the loss of our Constitutional freedoms under  one world government controlled by UN agreements. Then along came Trump.....smiley: happy

The weirdest cabinet meeting ever!

http://www.cnn.com/2017/06/12/politics/donald-trump-cabinet-meeting/index.html

[It was the greatest, bigly, spectacular, sycophantic love fest in the history of the entire multiverse!!! emoticon

I watched it and couldn't believe what I was hearing. Trump might as well have stood up, dropped his pants while his entire cabinet fought for the honor of being first to kiss his ass. It was deplorable and Trump beamed with self-love through the whole embarrassing spectacle. I've never, ever seen anything like it. Disgusting and disturbing.]

I like to call dowie, and the rest of the REAL plonkers, the male mistresses up the dark. They are the she-males. They are the fudge packers. They are the ones that can only be described as.... the muddy buddies.
